Cloud cover is medium so we are going to try to catch the northern lights.

A fantastic whale watching day today.

The wind was blowing from the east, a bit strong at first, died down, and then got much stronger on the way in, but I am not a weather man, so about whales.....

Not much to say about our morning tour, we sailed west, a porpoise was seen, once (just like porpoises like to be seen) and the view was very nice.

But unfortunately no good sightings, so everyone gets to try again, anytime in the next two years.

But on our second tour we sailed a bit further north and found a jackpot.

A jackpot consisting of a LOT of white-beaked dolphins

25-50+ individual animals, adults and calves.

We got some really nice looks at a whole lot of them, and I haven't seen so many dolphins since sometime early last summer.

A real treat.

A lot of fish was seen on our instruments and birds were everywhere.

Which is a great portent of what's to come.

But as always, we will see what will be.
